Tidings from Greece brought me down today.

But then I called Ourania to wish her a happy nameday. Eight years ago today we found ourselves sitting on the same park bench. I hadn’t talked to her for several years, but it was great to hear her voice and touch base. Our brief confabulation cheered me up big-time. It’s the small things. I was also very pleased to learn that Ourania’s band, Gyro-Gyro (”round and round”), has already released two CDs.
