In London with Chris

[Hypertrophy of the mousing hand.]

I spent last weekend in London with a cold (hopefully not SARS-related), dim sum, pool, ultimate frisbee, shopping, and Chris, who was visiting during her spring break. Participating in these activities was a varying number of AA students (it was slightly surreal to sit at a table with two half-Chinese American girls with short bleached hair) and Raphael. Nigel, just back from HK with a PS2 and an iPod, also joined the festivities.

After a three-day rest back in Bath, I will be heading to Athens for Bernardo’s stag weekend. At only three days, this will be my shortest trip back home. I need to go spend a couple of years in a warm, dry climate. [Cough.]

Today I received word that I was accepted for the MArch programme at Yale. There are decisions to be made.

Congratulations on the acceptance. That is a difficult program to be accepted into.

I, myself, will begin the BArch program at University of Texas - Austin this fall semester. I, of course, chose Austin for several reasons…one being the nightlife.

Thank you… Though it seems that the impracticalities of accepting Yale’s offer might be unsurmountable. Enjoy your time at Austin!
