Twenty-Seven

I have been hanging around for 27 years and a couple of hours now and I’m beginning to suspect I’ve been stood up.

Hello orestes ..

I ‘m an old friend from the acrobase good old times, Thomas Kogias if that rings a bell (’sorcerer’ in acro/gate).

And now in greek (it would not make sense to other people anyway, perhaps not even to orestes..:)

Elfie, Jane, and Linda: Thank you for your wishes! This was possibly the best birthday in memory.

Raph: I was born around 1:45 am eastern european time on the 11th of October 1976. That makes my comment accurate within five minutes. Now who’s my biatch? Thanks for the smoothie maker.

Thomas: Wow! That’s a blast from the past! What are you doing in Bruxelles?

Working as a 6-month stagiaire in the european commission (Information Society). Might sound impressive, but it’s only temporary and the salary is certainly not that impressive!
It is interesting though, as I mainly work with people investigating open source software/projects etc. (trying to convince EU bureaucrats that it is important among other things ..). Brussels seems a nice place as well. Perfect size, a lot of international people, cheaper than England, french-speaking women etc.

Well .. it must be a blast from the past indeed, not for me as much though as I had been reading the weblog sometimes (strange this, isn’t it?).

Anyway, if anything brings you to brussels, send me an email. They do have good beer around here!

take care,

thomas
