Farewell to Fitkin

[All packed and ready to go. Will be missed. *Sniffle*]

In a necessary move to reduce the surplus of laptops around the flat, Fitkin, my first-generation 500 MHz ice-white iBook, the most loved (and most lovely) computer I have ever owned, was today wiped and packed in its box. Richard Padovan, Fitkin’s 69 year old new owner, will be using it to finish his upcoming book on architecture, philosophy, and religion.

Did you negotiate a heritage-based return?

How did you come to name your computer FITKIN?

I named it after my favourite contemporary composer Graham Fitkin.
