It’s been a while since I have written an entry here, and there is no real reason why it should be so. I feel incerdibly sleepy, so here is a quick update. It’s been snowing non-stop for most of the past week. Metre-long icicles are hanging from the roof tiles, threatening to pierce through the crania of casual threshold-crossers. Roads freeze over in the evenings, making transportation a bit of an adventure. Chinese new year came and went, and it was, despite my efforts to rouse everyone up about it, a non-event. Work has yet to become creatively or remuneratively satisfactory, so I still spend my days aching for prospects that never seem to materialise. Not here, anyway; I am secretly planning a potential move to London or Sydney. Athens has yet to prove itself to me, but its deadline has not yet passed. I am hoping that the city will eventually come through after a last-minute cram, Greek-style, but for the moment it’s slouched in a chair, drinking coffee and chain smoking, and asking me to “chill, dude.”

For the first time in many years, I can’t chill. While I’m not prone to depression, I find myself constantly dissatisfied, frustrated, and restless. So here’s wishing for a prosperous year of the cock! Gong xi fa cai!
