Training and Settling

[The land of hope and glory. And shopping.]

[Mmm... Concrete.]

In the mornings I train for my new job. In the evenings I clean and scrub, I buy, assemble, and arrange furniture, I find places for my stuff to live, I deal with new bills for services, I notify companies of my new adddress, I discover the nearby take-away eateries; all those things implied by settling into a new flat. Consequently, my social life outside work suffers. Despite that, last weekend I hosted my first guest, Linda, who stopped by on her way back to Taiwan after accepting her Master’s degree from Bath. We had some laughs walking around town and snapping photos with her new (second hand) Canon Digital Rebel. Extra marks for students identifying the building on which I’m performing columnalingus.

Would it be the National Theatre???

yeap…you now have to deal with all those bills i was taking care of… :)

It is indeed the National Theatre by Sir Denys Lasdun. Quite easy after all, I suppose. But ooh, that concrete is scrumptious.

How many marks do i get??? :)

Help yourself to as many as you need. Hey, it’s Christmas.
