Stephen Perrella from Columbia gave a lecture at this school last night. I have not felt as academically engaged throughout my higher education career. The title of his talk was Hypersurface Architecture. He did not present the soundest arguments, but this sort of discourse has been missing from Bath. We had a short discussion later at the ringobells. I can only wish to find myself in as stimulating an environment as Columbia appears to be.
