Crawling Out of the Woodwork

I picked up an issue of Time magazine and read the readers’ letters. It was an eye-openning and scary experience. The September 11th events have given courage to a slew of racists, biggots, bullies, and war-mongers (and other members of “chosen” groups whose moral sense is entirely incompatible to Kant’s categorical imperative) to express their opinions publicly and eponymously. It is of course desireable that they do that. It’s just that I had no idea they existed in such great numbers.
