Contemporary Music

In November 1995 a group called Piano Circus performed on the University of Bath campus. Their repertoire included contemporary minimalist works by composers like Steve Reich, a favourite composer of mine. They also played Loud by Graham Fitkin. Subsequently, I hunted down more of Fitkin’s music, which includes some of my favourite pieces ever. The reason I am writing this now is that I just discovered that all these people have web sites.

I remember. I was there with you. I bought one of the two CDs they had for sale. It was called: “Piano Circus, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Six Pianos in C”. You bought the other one. I think you recorded the one I had bought. Details for your memory files.
