Parts of Vanity Fair are being shot in Bath this week. In fact, the crew is filming in front of my new flat and I hope they sweep up all the gravel and dirt covering the street before I move there on the 20th of June. Several extras impersonating street urchins and other such 19th century London pleb were walking around town in costume.

A whole street of Bath was transformed: streetlights, benches, bus stops, and parking ticket machines were ripped off, and new lights were added. There are hundreds of security personnel, a large parking lot is taken up by trailers, traffic has to be redirected. Getting an idea of the logistics involved in this operation makes one appreciate what a tidy little arrangement Pixar enjoys.

By the way, Finding Nemo has only just started hitting theatres and these guys have already put together a teaser for their new feature film.
