The last days of the year of the rooster were marked by a Jazz Café performance by my friend Athena last Sunday, a quick visit to the David Adjaye exhibition at the Whitechapel last Wednesday, and the ever exciting opening of the Store this morning. Happy year of the dog!

Reading your blogs keeps me in touch with how the happy ones live in the land of the cloud. Though one can’t complain by the way we are living in the land of the worry beads the name gives away one of the inhabitants more common passtimes. Though there are plenty of things to keep us busy we are usually “knackered” (which is “good” by CHALLENGE) by the time we get home on a day to day basis and hence over do it on the odd weekend away. Away from the noise pollution that is.
Hmm, I think I’m going to moan about life in the land of the worry beads on this site on a regular basis.
