“What tomfoolery is this? Where be the tales of inspired debauchery, wenches ravaged, and vices embraced that we would expect from the life of a liberally disposed young man blessed with unugliness, solvency, and a tastefully furnished central studio in London, the capital of Indulgence?” I hear you cry with eloquent apathy. It is true that my blog has been mostly uncontaminated by spicy accounts of my leisure time. That is because there is hardly any spice to be found therein. However, I still feel that I spend my free time well but I’m too lazy to relate the specifics here. But as we all know, laziness is the mother of invention, which in turn begets convenience, which frees up more time for blogging. So, without further ado, please ignore my cyclical logic and mixed metaphors while I spin my tale of selected recent outings with a canvas of colourful pixels:
“Classical clubbing” on the 24th of May with the Elysian Quartet at Cargo. I found the music thoroughly unexciting but I still left feeling enchanted.
Dropping the ball on the 7th of June as part of the ESA softball team at Regent’s Park. One of my lenses popped out, and that’s my excuse.
Loving the hayfever on the 12th of June with Elfie and Ruskin at St. James’s Park.
Looking down on the DJ on the 25th at the world’s largest pecha kucha event at Sadler’s Wells with Jane, Raphael, and Roli. We had fun playing with the shadow monsters in the lobby.
Dinner at Busaba on the 30th with Linda, visiting from Taiwan, and a whole bunch of other friends who where in the right place at the right time. Where the hell were you?
